The first in a series of community meetings where our parliamentary candidate, Mims Davies, introduces herself to voters in the new constituency took place in Buxted.
The well-attended event, hosted by popular Conservative county councillor Roy Galley, enable a discussion on matters of interest to the community.
"Among the topics were speeding on our country lanes, particularly past the school between Buxted park and the villages, Gatwick expansion, and over-development", says Roy Galley.
There was also the chance to update the meeting on continuing issues with Southern Water drains overflowing and highway flooding.
Before the meeting, Mims and her team took to the streets of Buxted to talk to residents.
