Mims Davies MP was thrilled to host her first ever 'In Conversation' event on Friday 22nd March in Horsted Keynes.
Chaired by a respected local journalist, residents of Mid Sussex had the opportunity to put forward any questions they had to their Member of Parliament, Mims Davies.
This was a strictly non-political event which focused on local affairs and the things that matter most to residents.
Mims had questions from residents on a variety of topics with the most sought after to be answered regarding:
- Modality
- GPs
- Potholes
- Burgess Hill Town
- Parking Charges
This event was in addition to Mims' usual visits, surgeries, Parliamentary meetings and constituency meetings taking place. Mims is planning on hosting more of her ‘In Conversation’ events across Mid Sussex as the local Member of Parliament to give as many local residents the chance to meet her and ask questions on important local issues.
Mims will also be hosting online versions of the event for those who wish to join and ask her questions, but who may not be able to join in person.
Mims Davies MP said:
"I am very grateful to the residents who joined my first ever In Conversation Q&A event in Horsted Keynes.
We had a great turnout of residents from across the Mid Sussex constituency who asked a great number of questions from concerns on Modality, GP waiting times, potholes, Burgess Hill town and the newly introduced parking charges brought by the Lib Dem leadership at Mid Sussex District Council.
Thank you again to everyone who joined me and to our brilliant local journalist for joining.
I will be hosting more of these events, as well as online versions, so please do keep an eye out and join me!"
