A growing traffic issue in East Grinstead has been highlighted by Conservative Cllr Jacquie Russell with action that allows residents to make their views known.
"There are increasing concerns by residents of Hurst Farm Road with respect to the speed of traffic. Yesterday this resulted in a collision between a car and two fence panels into a resident's back garden. West Sussex Fire and Rescue were also required to attend", explains Cllr Russell.
"As a result one resident has applied for a Community Highways Scheme to be implemented which looks at options for traffic calming. Any application requires the local county councillor's support which it has, but also evidence of support from residents.
