During the election Labour promised to back farmers and not to change Agricultural Property Relief, which exempts farms from inheritance tax.
In the Autumn Budget Labour broke that promise, reduced the relief and imposed inheritance tax on family farms.
Labour's Family Farm Tax will put over 100,000 farm holdings at risk. And it will reduce the amount of farmland in the UK, risking jobs in rural communities.
And whether you live in a rural county or a city centre, Labour's Family Farms tax will hit you by increasing the price of food at shops and in supermarkets.
Those who live near farms or know people who are farmers know that they are some of the hardest-working people in the country.
And they're one of the many 'working people' that Labour have broken faith with by increasing taxes.
Conservatives are committed to repealing this tax if we win the next General Election.
But in the meantime we need to urge Labour to change course.
