Cllr Bruce Forbes lives in Turners Hill.
Bruce was a senior officer with the London Borough of Wandsworth for 34 years.
He served on Mid Sussex District Council from 2011 to 2019. During that time he served on several committees including Planning, Licensing and Scrutiny Committees. From 2017 to 2019, he had the honour to be elected and serve as Chairman of the Council.
Bruce has been a Parish Councillor for Turners Hill since 2011 and is presently Chairman of the Parish. On 6 May 2021, in a by-election for the Copthorne Worth Ward, he was elected to serve on Mid Sussex District Council.
Bruce is happily married with two lovely daughters, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Bruce is on the committee for the Royal British Legion, Crawley Down and Turners Hill Branch. He is a Patron of the Burgess Hill Symphony Orchestra and member of the Friends of St Leonards Church, Turners Hill. He is a member of the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London (Freemasons).
His main hobbies are gardening and sport.
